E-mail: Plain Text by default. Your html emails won’t work right. MSHTML is turned off in Outlook Express which means that e-mail will start behaving differently for average users who like pink text and flowery backgrounds. External Content turned off by default. Images and HTML content in email is turned off and users must acknowledge the download. Good for limiting some spam.

Also: Im Outlook Express unter XP SP 2 werden E-Mails in der Grundeinstellung in reinem Text dargestellt. Das heisst, kein violetter Hintergrund und keine gelben Links. Die Anzeige von HTML-Mails und von Bildern muss vom Nutzer bestätigt werden.
In diesem Punkt hat Microsoft meine Unterstützung. Viele Nutzer werden sich wohl aber in vorwurfsvollem Ton an ihren ISP wenden.
